Meet Frankie, the friendly one

The patient voice assistant for the people you love

Frankie talks and listens like an old friend. He reads the mail out loud, explains prescriptions in plain words, texts reminders that actually arrive, and spots a scam before it does harm. Made for older adults. Set up in minutes by family.

Works in the browser on any phone, tablet, or computer. Nothing to install.

What Frankie does

One helper for the everyday things

Everything happens in one simple screen with big buttons. Talk out loud or type, whichever feels natural.

Real conversations, out loud

Tap one button and talk. Frankie answers in a warm natural voice, keeps up when he is interrupted, and remembers what you talked about last time, so nothing has to be explained twice.

Frankie, what did the pharmacy say yesterday?
They said your refill is ready after 2 pm. Want me to remind you at 2?

Reads any document

Snap a photo of a letter, bill, form, or prescription label. Frankie explains it in plain words and reads it aloud.

Reminders that arrive

Medicine, appointments, calls. One time or repeating, delivered as a text or an email at the right local time.

Scam protection

A suspicious letter or text gets checked for pressure tactics, fake bills, and phishing signs, in plain language.

Family, one tap away

Save the important people once. Frankie writes texts and emails to them, dials calls, and shows addresses on a map.

Speaks English and Russian

Fully bilingual, even when both languages mix in one sentence. Letters get translated both ways, carefully.

Привет! Фрэнки говорит по-русски.

The story

Named after a horse, raised on the Palm Springs pace

Frankie's personality is built around a horse, the kind you meet on a morning ride out of Smoke Tree Stables in Palm Springs. A good trail horse never rushes you, never judges, notices everything, and stays calm no matter what the day brings. That temperament, steady, patient, and quietly funny, is the whole design brief.

It shapes how he works, not just how he talks. Frankie walks, never gallops you along: one question at a time, read back before anything is sent, no menus to memorize. He carries the load: composing the message, filling the reminder form, doing the arithmetic on a bill. And he knows the trail: he remembers yesterday's conversation and picks the thread right back up.

The rest is the desert oasis this product grew up in. Warm light, unhurried mornings, palms against the mountains, and always time for a chat. High tech underneath, old friend on the surface.

Listen closely while Frankie is thinking and you will hear soft hoofbeats. That is him, trotting off to fetch your answer.

How it works

Set up in minutes, usually by family

Most accounts are created by an adult son or daughter for a parent. After setup, the parent just taps one icon and talks.

01

Create the account

Sign up with an email and password. Add the first name Frankie should use, a cell number for reminders, and the language.

02

Add the important people

Save family and friends with their numbers and emails, so Frankie knows exactly who "call my daughter" means.

03

Put Frankie on the home screen

Open frankiegpt.com on their phone, sign in once, add to home screen. From then on it opens like any app.

Built with care

Designed for trust, not tricks

The rules Frankie lives by, written into the product, not the fine print.

Nothing sends itself without a yes

Texts and emails to other people always open the user's own Messages or Mail app, and they press send themselves. Frankie's own channels ask for clear confirmation out loud first.

A private mail address for every account

Family can forward a confusing letter to the account's own Frankie address, and it appears in the Mail section ready to be explained.

Careful with health and money

Frankie never diagnoses, never changes prescription instructions, and tells people to call 911 and family in an emergency.

No dark patterns

Big readable buttons, plain language, daily sending limits on every account, and nothing that nags, upsells, or hides.

Questions

Common questions

Who is FrankieGPT for?
Anyone in the United States who wants a patient, always-available helper. It is designed first for older adults and for the families who look after them, but nothing stops anyone from using it themselves.
Does it need an app from the App Store?
No. Frankie runs in the web browser and can be added to the home screen, where it looks and opens like a regular app. It works on iPhone, Android, tablets, and computers.
Can Frankie send messages by himself?
Only two things go out automatically, and both only after a spoken or tapped yes: texts to the account holder's own phone (reminders and notes to self) and emails from Frankie's own address. Messages to anyone else always open the user's own Messages or Mail app, and the user presses send.
What about privacy?
Conversations are stored for the account so Frankie can remember and pick up where he left off. They are never sold and never shown to other users. Photos of documents are analyzed to answer the question and are not kept on the server. See the Privacy Policy for details.
Why a horse?
Frankie's character is modeled on a Palm Springs trail horse, the kind you ride out of Smoke Tree Stables: patient, steady, observant, and never in a hurry. It is a deliberate design choice, because the people Frankie helps deserve a companion that walks at their pace. You will even hear soft hoofbeats while he is off finding your answer.
Is Frankie a medical or legal service?
No. Frankie explains documents and helps with everyday tasks, but he does not diagnose, prescribe, or give legal advice, and he always points to a pharmacist, doctor, or other professional when it matters. In an emergency, call 911.
